Jakarta, 15 October 2025 — The Faculty of Industrial Technology at Universitas Trisakti (FTI Usakti) held an inauguration and oath-taking ceremony for engineers for participants of the Professional Engineer Study Programme (PSPPI), Cohort IV, Even Semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The event, which took place on Wednesday, 15 October 2025, marked a historic moment for the 55 newly qualified engineers who have officially been awarded the title of Engineer and are ready to contribute to the nation’s progress.

The solemn ceremony was attended by the leadership of Universitas Trisakti, the Deans of the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Trisakti, the Secretary-General of the Indonesian Engineers’ Association (PII), PII officials, heads of study programmes within the Faculty of Engineering, and permanent lecturers of the PSPPI, comprising both academics and industry practitioners.

The induction ceremony began with the Vice-Chancellor I placing a sash around the graduates’ shoulders, the Rector presenting medals, the PII Secretary-General pinning helmets, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering presenting folders containing certificates and the text of the Engineer’s Oath to the new engineers. The event then continued with the taking of the Engineer’s Oath, led directly by the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA., IPU., ASEAN Eng.

In his address, Prof. Kadarsah expressed his appreciation and pride in the outstanding achievements of the graduates of the professional engineering programme. They have undertaken a long journey, acquiring the knowledge and skills required to become part of the esteemed engineering community.

This achievement is a source of particular pride for the Faculty of Industrial Technology, as all participants of the 4th Cohort of the PSPPI FTI Usakti programme successfully graduated on time. Furthermore, the award of the Professional Engineer (IP) title from the Indonesian Institute of Engineers (PII) marks an important milestone in supporting the issuance of Engineer Registration Certificates (STRI) for Indonesian engineers, enabling them to serve and contribute to the nation.

The entire leadership of the Faculty of Industrial Technology at Universitas Trisakti extends its congratulations and best wishes to all the newly qualified engineers. May their knowledge and integrity contribute tangibly to the development and progress of Indonesia.
